Random Boss vs Standard Runs
Standard Depth Spelunking guarantees the Sin of Envy on Floor 20. Daily Mode v0.6.8 instead rolls a random boss at Floor 20 from the Deadly Sin and boss pool—Mannequins on The Mall, Sin of Sloth Cathedral, Echovore arenas, or Envy Coliseum depending on daily seed configuration.
One ranked attempt per day means you cannot specialize mid-run. Pre-read Discord daily seed announcements for boss hints when community dataminers share configuration.
Envy Preparation
If daily seed points to Envy, pack speed consumables and memorize thirteen paper locations from our Envy guide. Phantom's Cloak does not stop Envy—wall discipline only. Leeching Roses need ten interact escapes; route outer walls first.
Mannequins Preparation
Mall boss days demand co-op watcher roles or solo avatar-facing observation discipline. Power flickers teleport mannequins—reassess before moving after blackouts. Live mannequins show red meaty waists.
Sloth Preparation
Sloth Cathedral triggers four-minute thirty-second timer after first task. Pre-route all tasks before starting any. Walls block Sloth sight; pillars do not. Finish before timer zero or face unlimited hearing on movement.
Trophy Room and Scoring
After boss completion, Trophy Room timer runs until trophy grab—minimize post-boss looting delays for time ranks. Break Room lever pauses timer but delays consumable score bonuses until pulled strategically.
Use Daily Score Reference during post-run review. Standard runs practice weak boss matchups without wasting the daily slot.
