Spooky Update Items
New Starter Items
Vampiric Ring is a hybrid Black Market starter ($220) also sold at Lobby Shop during October. Spending 40 health releases a bat swarm and grants 8-second invisibility with float, trap immunity, and silent footsteps. Allies' healing or damage siphons 75% health to the wearer. Tradeoffs: -15 max health, disabled passive regen, -15% item healing, 75-second cooldown.
Bag of Candy is a passive Halloween starter providing seasonal utility—pair with October event runs and Jack-O-Bomber dodge routes. Check Terminal for current star rating after v0.6.8 quality passes.
Halloween Consumables
Five new consumables joined v0.6.6: Chocolate Buttons, Granola Bar, A Quarter, Candy Corn, and Sour Candy. Granola Bar remains meta-critical for clearing bleed stacks from Glass, Grappler, and Jack-O-Bomber sawblades.
Candy Bowl is a new trap type—stepping triggers Halloween hazard effects. Treat orange floor decor on Hallow's Eve with caution during chases.
v0.6.6 Balance Changes
Rose of Envy, Providence, Spectral Blindfold, and Heart Locket now consume health instead of battery—Power Saving upgrade affects these costs. Deck of Cards Hearts heal +25 HP per v0.6.6.6 patch.
Nine item balance passes hit Echolocator, Mystery Gift, Rose of Envy, Deck of Cards, Spectral Blindfold, Notebook, Running Shoes, Medkit, Dealmakers, and NEO Dealmakers. Dealmakers and NEO Dealmakers received full reworks.
Build Recommendations
Vampiric Ring pairs with Depth Gauge max-health setting post-Floor 30, Medkit for solo sustain, or Phantom's Cloak for alternating invisibility types. Avoid Vampiric Ring below 40 health—active cannot trigger.
October Lobby Shop Vampiric Ring availability lets Delvers test before Black Market commitment. Spooky consumables stock heavily before Hallow's Eve and Jack-O-Bomber Floor 5 October spawns.
