Recode Public Test

Live Test Window

Foxxive Studios opened Recode public testing on 3 July 2026 at 20:30 UTC. The window closes 19 July 2026 at 02:30 UTC. During this period the main Roblox experience is titled [RECODE TESTING] Depth Spelunking and hosts rebuilt core systems ahead of the Epilogue Update.

This is not a separate game ID—you join the same Depth Spelunking place. Servers may be empty at off-peak hours; patience and Discord coordination help find active test lobbies.

What to Expect

Recode prioritizes engine and systems work: expect unfinished UI, missing polish, balance swings, and softlocks. Status-effect naming and other Terminal details are explicitly deferred until Recode settles. Foxxive’s community wiki asked editors not to publish Recode spoilers during the test—we follow that spirit by documenting the event meta, not leaking unfinished content.

Bring a bug-report mindset. Note reproduction steps, floor/seed if visible, and party size. Cozy Cabin Discord channels are the correct feedback path—not random social media claim posts.

Progression & Badges

Treat Recode progress as provisional. Test-only badges such as Resilience (reach Floor 15 without using a healing item) may exist during the window; assume rewards can be wiped or adjusted when Recode closes.

For lasting meta progression—money, Bestiary, Black Market unlocks—lean on pre-Recode knowledge and return to stable builds after Foxxive publishes post-test notes.

After the Test

When the window ends, watch Dev-Notify for which Recode systems graduate into live play and when Epilogue content (False Delvers, Seraphim, Beekeeper, Illusionist) enters public builds. Refresh Version History and Upcoming Entities pages as official notes land.
